Year 4 Living Eggs
Over the last week, the children in Year Four have been looking after some living eggs. We now have eight healthy chicks who enjoy a good cuddle with the children!
The children are enjoying the responsibility of cleaning the chicks out three times a day(!) and are surprised by how much they eat!
We have talked lots about the lifecycle of a chick and discussed how much care it takes to look after a living animal properly.
A big thank you to Mrs Hibberd and Mrs Lawrence who have offered to rehome the eight chickens and one cockerel so they will enjoy a lovely free-range life!
