WORLD BOOK DAY 2020
The children and staff had a super time celebrating World Book Day today. Our theme this year was ˜Reading is the key that unlocks all learning! This year we celebrated the process of reading itself and how without reading we would be unable to access all of the other wonderful subjects we learn, both at school and in the wider world. Today the whole school based all of our learning around the book 365 Penguins by Jean-Luc Fromental. A book with rich links to a wide range of subjects including Maths, Science and with a very important Eco message. The whole school dressed up as penguins and we had a whole school photo taken by drone to see what 365 and more penguins (plus one lost polar bear) would look like! Huge thanks to Whirlybird Imaging for the wonderful drone footage.
