This is the homepage of Powell's C of E Primary School in Cirencester in Gloucestershire. Our School is an Aided Church School, with a long and proud tradition. Our roots go back to 1714 in the founding of the Blue School for boys, followed in 1722 by the Yellow School for girls.

The amalgamation of the two in 1876 saw the foundation of Powell's School, taking our name from Rebecca Powell who helped to lay the foundations for much of the early education in Cirencester.
